Club member injured
As some of you may know Logan Ness suffered a really nasty crash at Nelson during seeding runs on the 24th January, resulting in injuries to both arms.
His injuries required him to be helivac’d from the track and later requiring surgery.
Logan had surgery on both
elbows, which lasted several hours on the evening of 24th January because surgery was
disrupted for a serious motorcycle accident.
He’s dislocated both elbows and has 4 pins in one and three pins in the other.
He has both arms in plaster for the next 4 weeks.
Fortunately the
elbows are only dislocated though and not broken, so after a bit of physio
he’ll be right again and back on a bike in a couple of months I guess.
Logan’s pretty cool about the whole thing.
Gravity Canterbury wishes Logan all the best with his recovery.

We will be hosting another Novice Race in 2010.
Like the last one, possibly a different course, who knows!
Gravity Canterbury Novice Race
The race is aimed at the general weekend trail rider and novice racers only.
You know your levels of ability, don't try and kid us.
Everyone loves riding the Victoria park tracks, but not everyone wants to take up downhilling.
Heres your chance to take to the tracks timed against other riders on XC and Trail Bikes.
